The help page is the source for the listing rules. What follows is what How to Add Listing Videos showed on October 12, 2026. Sisif's length, size, and price sit beside those rules, and the gaps are named where the two do not match.
What the help page actually says
Checked October 12, 2026. Source: How to Add Listing Videos.
The page says a listing video may be 3 to 15 seconds long and will not contain any audio once uploaded. The minimum resolution is 500px. The page calls at least 1080 pixels ideal. The aspect ratio should be 2:1 or 1:2. Accepted types include MP4. The same page also lists MOV, FLV, AAC, AVI, 3GP, and MPEG. The maximum size is 100 MB. You can add up to 2 videos per listing.
On Etsy.com the page says to open Shop Manager, then Listings, open the listing or create one, go to Photo and video, and upload. The Seller app path on the same page is Listings, the listing, Listing, then Photo and video.
Where a Sisif clip lines up, and where it does not
AI product video makes one silent 5-second portrait MP4 at 540x960 for $1. The file has no watermark. A subscription is not required. Optional monthly plans are on Pricing. The file is ready in 2-5 minutes. That purchase is 12 credits, which is this one clip.
540x960 is 540 pixels on the short side, which is above the 500px minimum on the help page. 5 seconds sits inside 3 to 15 seconds. The frame is 9:16. The help page asks for 2:1 or 1:2, so this is not an exact match. Check how Etsy crops the clip in the listing preview before you publish the listing. This is not a claim of a perfect fit.
The page sets a maximum of 100 MB. This article does not state the byte size of a Sisif file.
The file is silent, which lines up with the help page's line that a listing video will not contain any audio once uploaded. Sisif does not export a GIF or a PNG, and it does not keep a transparent background. It is not a landscape file. The short side is not 1080 pixels. The help page calls that figure ideal. This clip is 540x960.
The download is an MP4. This product does not export MOV, FLV, AAC, AVI, 3GP, or MPEG.
From a product photo to the MP4
Open AI product video. The product name is Product ad. The photo field is labeled "Product photo, required". The prompt field placeholder is "How the product should move.". The product photo is required. The clip moves that photo.
The checkbox reads "I have the right to use this photo." The upload is stored as a JPEG, with the long edge at or under 2048 pixels. A transparent area in a PNG is not kept. Put the product on the background you want before you upload.
Small turn fills:
"The product in the photo turns a small ±20° on a plain backdrop, keeping the front visible."
Hero reveal fills:
"A soft light sweep reveals the product in the photo. The front stays visible and the label faces the camera."
Use one of those, or write one move. Leave the slogan and the price out of the prompt. The clip does not add text, so put the offer in the listing.
Press Render a clip. With no credits, checkout is $1. The pay page shows the product name, the photo when one is attached, and the price. It does not print the prompt. A prompt longer than 500 characters is shortened before you pay.
Download the MP4. On Etsy, add it from Photo and video, then look at the listing preview and see how the frame is cropped.
The other two cards
The page shows four cards. Small turn and Hero reveal are two of them. The other two, with the sentence each one fills:
- In use. "A hand picks up the product in the photo and sets it back down. The label stays facing the camera and the hand never covers it."
- Unboxing. "The product in the photo is lifted out of its box and set on the table. The label stays facing the camera and the hand never covers it."
One card is one clip of 5 seconds. A second move is a second clip at $1.
Left unstated on purpose
The ring clip at the top is one example Sisif output, made from a product photo. The two stills that follow are product photos you could upload, not Sisif clips. The byte size of a Sisif file stays unstated.
Put the file on the listing
Add the MP4 in the listing's Photo and video field. Check the crop in the listing preview. Come back to AI product video for another move. Each return is another clip at $1. Prices for the clip and for the optional monthly plans are on Pricing.
